The present petition has been filed under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India, for initiating proceedings against the respondents for alleged wilful disobedience of the common judgment dated 25.03.2025 (Annexure P-1), passed by this Court disposing of CWP-12744-2014 and other connected matters.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the State has challenged the aforesaid judgment by way of Special Leave to Appeal No.19691-19700/2025, which are pending. 3.
