**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 14 dated 21.1.2020 registered under Sections 307, 148, 149 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, Police Station City Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran and all the consequent proceedings arising therefrom. It is a case in which the petitioners have sought quashing of the present FIR. Earlier Hardial Singh, father of petitioner No. 2 had filed a Habeas Corpus petition i.e. CRWP No. 321 of 2019 was filed, in which the Warrant Officer was appointed and he submitted his report that detenue Harpreet Kaur, who was present in the Court, stated that she had no grievance.

Thereafter, the petitioner approached this Court by way of CRM-M-23526-2020 seeking protection to their life and liberty, which was disposed of on 24.8.2020. So far as present case is concerned, the petitioners are not arraigned as accused in the FIR. Since the petitioners have not been arraigned as accused in the GURPREET SINGH 2020.12.11 18:58 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chadigarh present FIR, no case is made out to quash the present FIR.

CRM-M No. 41373 of 2020 -2The present petition is frivolous and is hereby dismissed with costs of Rs. 10,000/-, to be paid by the petitioners with Shri Guru Granth Sahib Sewa Society (Regd.), opposite New Public School, Sector-18, Chandigarh.
