Petitioners claim that they have attained majority and married against the wishes of their family members. Apprehending threat to their life and liberty, they have filed the present petition for protection. 2.
Petitioners claim to have submitted a representation dated 09.06.2026 (Annexure P-7), in this regard to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali). 3.

The present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali), that representation, if any, filed seeking protection of life and liberty, be looked into and contents thereof be duly verified and if necessary, requisite steps be taken, strictly in accordance with law for grant of protection of life and liberty to the petitioners.
