JASWANT SINGH, J. (ORAL) The petitioner is serving as ETT teacher in Block Dasuya II, District Hoshiarpur, and has impugned his transfer from GES, Banial, Block Dasuya II, District Hoshiarpur, to GES, Khanpur, Block Garhshankar - 2, District Hoshiarpur.

Counsel for the petitioner has been heard at length. It is not disputed that the petitioner right from his initial recruitment w.e.f. July 1, 2006, has remained posted at GES, Banial, Block Dasuya II, District Hoshiarpur, i.e. for more than 12 years excepting for one year when he had gone for school training.

CWP-29495-2018 (O&M) The plea that his wife is pregnant or his father suffers from paralyses, would not be a ground for permitting the stay at one place of posting for years together. The petitioner has been transferred within the same District, therefore, no prejudice would be caused. Even the plea that the petitioner is the only teacher in the school, has to be addressed by the DEO who would be obligated to post another ETT teacher in the said school.

Dismissed.
