(Oral) The petitioners have approached this Court seeking directions to respondents No.1 to 3 for protecting their lives and liberty as the private respondents did not approve of their 'live-in' relationship. Vide order dated 12.11.2021, this Court upon noticing that petitioner No.1 was aged less than 18 years, had directed that she be lodged at Children Home and Observation Home, Gandhi Vanita Ashram, Kapurthala Chowk, Jalandhar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has informed that petitioner No.1 is presently aged more than 18 years and her Date of Birth is 23.12.2004 and as such, deserves to be released from Children Home and Observation Home, Gandhi Vanita Ashram, Kapurthala Chowk, Jalandhar. Learned State counsel has informed that petitioner No.1 already stands released from the aforesaid Children Home and Observation Home, Gandhi Vanita Ashram, Kapurthala Chowk, Jalandhar and is stated to be MOHAN SINGH 2023.03.16 18:12 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

Faced with the aforesaid submission, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant with liberty to approach this Court afresh, in case the petitioners ever apprehends any kind of threat to their lives and liberty.
