The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the petitioner for only one day i.e. on 19.06.2026.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a convict and a co-sharer of a property and wants to sell the same and the date for execution of the sale is fixed for 19.06.2026 and the prayer in the present petition is only to the limited extent that the petitioner may be released for one day from the jail to enable him to execute the sale deed on the aforesaid date.

Mr. Udit Garg, learned Additional Advocate General, Haryana has submitted on instructions that although the State has got no objection with regard to the aforesaid but the petitioner may be released under the RAKESH KUMAR 2026.06.17 19:07 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRWP-7130-2026(O&M) -2custody of the jail authorities/police on payment of appropriate charges as prescribed by the Government of Haryana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner may be granted permission to be released from the jail for the aforesaid date under the custody of the jail authorities/police and he undertakes to pay the requisite Government charges in this regard. 5.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of. The jail authorities shall take the petitioner on 19.06.2026 at the appropriate place for the execution of the sale deed under adequate security. The aforesaid shall be done subject to the payment of the requisite Government charges which shall be borne by the petitioner to the concerned authorities.
