The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to restrain the petitioner from travelling abroad in future.

Learned counsel for the petitioner and the petitioner, who is appearing before this court through video conferencing and is identified by the counsel, after arguing for some time and on being confronted with the issue of territorial jurisdiction of this court, pray for withdrawal of the petition with a liberty and in order to enable the petitioner to file a petition before the court having territorial jurisdiction, including in the State of Maharashtra.
