(Oral) The prayer in the present petition is for quashing of FIR No.155 dated 30.10.2018 under Sections 306/34 IPC registered with Police Station Sadar Raikot, District Ludhiana (Rural) and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom in view of the compromise (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties.

Since the FIR, in this case, has been registered under Section 306 IPC, the same cannot be quashed on the basis of compromise in view of the judgment passed in the case of "Neelam Devi and another versus State of Punjab and another 2022(2) Law Herald 1002". In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed.
