Petitioner represented to SSP, Jalandhar (instead of Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar) vide representation Annexure P-3 for fair investigation of the case bearing FIR No.77 dated 22.06.2019 registered at Police Station Sadar Jalandhar for the offence punishable under Section 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar to look into the grievance of petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law, within a period of three months of receipt of copy of this order.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioner from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against her in accordance with law.
