The aforesaid petitions have been filed for quashing of one and the same FIR, therefore, the same are taken up for disposal together.

On perusal of the record, it reveals that seven accused have been named in the present FIR, however, the instant petitions DALBIR SINGH TIWANA 2023.11.16 09:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.
2023:PHHC:144691 CRM-M-39869-2023 & CRM-M-40250-2023 -2are preferred by only two accused. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Surjit Singh, informed that now Section 201 IPC has also been added and he also raised objection regarding quashing of FIR for the offences punishable under the Arms Act, on the basis of compromise.

Be that as it may. Since the instant petitions for quashing of FIR have been preferred by two accused only, out of seven accused, quashing of FIR is not permissible. 4.
Facing with the aforesaid situation, counsel for the petitioners pray for permission to withdraw the instant petitions with liberty to re-access this Court, in case compromise is effected with all the parties. Prayer is allowed.

Both the aforesaid petitions are dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as aforesaid.
