**** SANDEEP MOUDGIL , J.(ORAL) This petition under Section 528 B.N.S.S. for issuance of appropriate direction directing the official respondents to complete the investigation in case FIR No.0010 dated 13.01.2018 under Sections 341, 323, 325, 506, 427, 148 and 149 IPC registered at Police Station Sadar Raikot, District Ludhiana.

However, learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Gurnam Singh submits that cancellation report stands presented to the Court on 07.09.2023 to which the petitioner has shown ignorance. Faced with the aforesaid situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the instant petition since the same has been rendered infructuous.
