Prayer in this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the order dated 06.01.2016 (Annexure P-15). Further a writ of mandamus has been sought, directing the respondents to pay interest @ 18% p.a. on the amount illegally deducted by the respondents and also direct the respondents to pay interest @ 18% p.a. on account of delayed payment of amount due to the petitioner. 2.

The case has been called twice since morning and despite that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that neither the petitioner nor his counsel is interested in pursuing the present petition.
