**** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein inter alia is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the order dated 06.08.2019 (Annexure P-3) passed by the Court of District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner Ambala whereby application filed by respondent No.2 under Section 22(2) of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 was allowed and petitioner No.1 along with her husband were directed to be evicted from the residential premises in question. Petitioner No.1 is daughter-in-law of respondent No.2 and petitioners No.2 and 3 are minor children of petitioner No.1. Pursuant to order dated 03.09.2019, report of learned Mediator dated 06.12.2019 is taken on record and marked as Annexure 'A'. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that per his instructions despite having settled the matter amicably, respondent No.2 is not complying with the mutual terms as agreed before the learned Mediator particularly Clause 7(a) recorded in the mediation report.

The above said statement is controverted by learned counsel for respondents No.2 and 3.

Writ petition is disposed of in view of the settlement as recorded and parties to remain bound by the same with consequences to follow in case of noncompliance of the same by either side. It is made clear that both the parties shall withdraw pending cases, if any, against each other and shall not pursue any litigation in view of the matter having been settled amicably in terms of the mediation report.
