**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Present writ petition was filed in January, 2017 and even after expiry of one year and 10 months, no reply has been filed to the writ petition so far.

At this stage, counsel for the petitioners states that for the relief which has been claimed in the present writ petition, the petitioners has served a legal notice dated 22.07.2016 (Annexure P-3) upon the respondents and the petitioners will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is given to the respondents to decide the same expeditiously.

It is made clear that this Court expresses no opinion on the merits of the case and the claim being made in the said legal notice.
