AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) Prayer in present writ petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to grant deemed date of appointment to the petitioners as that has been given to other appointed candidates in pursuance to the selection process. Notice of motion.

On asking of Court, Mr. R.K.Doon, Assistant Advocate General, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondents/State.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioners submits that petitioners, at this stage, would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent no.2 to consider and decide the representation dated 06.04.2016 (Annexure P-5) within some specified time.

CWP No.23331 of 2019 {2} In view of statement made by learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into merit of case or commenting thereon, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 06.04.2016 (Annexure P-5) by passing a well reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. In case, representation is not decided within aforementioned specified time, there shall be costs of Rs.25,000/- to be paid by the concerned officer to the petitioners.
