**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the respondents to release the retiral benefits such as gratuity, GPF etc.
Counsel for the petitioner states that the pension is being paid regularly to the petitioner. Apart from this, a sum of `6,68,930/ - has also been paid to the petitioner on 01.08.2018. Counsel further states that the remaining amount of his retrial benefits is not released without any justification.

CWP-29779-2018 -2respondents to decide the representation (Annexure P-2), which the petitioner has filed with the respondents on 05.10.2018. Without going into the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the representation dated 05.10.2018 (Annexure P-2) and to pass an appropriate order, in respect of the release of the retiral benefits for which the petitioner was entitled for after his retirement on 31.07.2018, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. In case after passing the order, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefits, the same should also be released to him within a period of three months thereafter.
