IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH CRM-M-41652-2022 Date of Decision: 12.09.2022 Manjit Singh Malhi ......... Petitioner

Versus

State of Punjab and another ......... Respondents

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANOOP CHITKARA Present:- Mr. Umesh Aggarwal, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Harsimar Singh Sitta, DAG, Punjab.

Mr. Vikas Bali, Advocate for the complainant. **** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No. 102, dated 27.07.2022, registered under Sections 420, 120-B IPC at Police Station Sultanwind, Amritsar. Learned counsel for the complainant has strenuously opposed the bail application on the grounds that earlier also, the petitioner had filed a similar petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. bearing CRM-M No. 38438-2022 which was dismissed by this Court on 02.09.2022.

The law is settled that unless the change of circumstances is massive, second bail petition of anticipatory bail is not maintainable. Consequently, the present petition stands dismissed. All pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
