**** AJAY KUMAR MITTAL, J. (Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of certiorari, thereby, declaring Section 6(2)(f) of the Passports Act, 1967, as unconstitutional and violative of the fundamental and legal rights of the petitioner.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Criminal Court seeking permission to go abroad. It was also prayed that in case, the prayer of the petitioner has not been acceded to by the Criminal Court, then liberty be granted to the petitioner to avail the alternative remedy as may be available to him, in accordance with law.

Dismissed as withdrawn. It shall, however, be open to the petitioner to take recourse to the remedies as may be available to him, in accordance with law.
