The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents to consider and decide the representations dated 29.05.2026 (Annexure P-4) and 02.06.2026 (Annexure P-5) submitted by the petitioners against the encroachment upon and an unauthorized utilisation of the petitioners' land and further prayed for issuance of appropriate directions restraining the respondents from carrying out any further constructions, activity, widening of the drain (nala), excavation, demolition or any other activity resulting in further encroachment, alteration of, or interference with the petitioners' land.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have filed representations dated 29.05.2026 (Annexure P-4) and 02.06.2026 (Annexure P-5) before the respondents raising their grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereon. 3.
