The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 03.03.2023 passed by this Court in CRM-M-11405-2023.

This Court had issued the following directions in CRM-M11405-2023, vide its order dated 03.03.2023:- "After hearing learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-SHO, Police Station Meharban, District Ludhiana, to forthwith consider the grievance(s) raised by the petitioners in the aforesaid application and representation made to him/her and take action thereupon as he/she deems fit, in accordance with law." 3.

In compliance of the order dated 03.03.2023 passed by this

-2Court in CRM-M-11405-2023, compliance affidavit dated 08.11.2023 of Sh. Devinder Singh, the then SI/SHO, P.S. Meharban, Ludhiana, now Inspector posted as SHO, Shimlapuri, Ludhiana, as well as compliance affidavit dated 08.11.2023 of Sh. Gurwinder Pal Singh, ASI, the then posted at P.S. Meharban, Ludhiana, now posted as Reader to Assistant Commissioner of Police (South), Ludhiana, have been filed on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2, respectively, before the Registry. The same are taken on record. The relevant portion of the said compliance report is reproduced as under:- "4. That enquiry on the said Representation of the petitioners Annexure P-6 (in that petition) bearing Complaint No.182159 dated 21.06.2023 was conducted by the answering deponent.

Infact in their said representation Annexure P-6 (in that petition), the petitioners had demanded/requested to take action against their opponent Sandeep Kumar etc. for lodging false FIR against the petitioners. During the inquiry on the said representation of the petitioners by the answering deponent, it was revealed that as Sandeep Kumar has got registered false FIR No.76 dated 23.05.2016, u/s 304,34 IPC, P.S. Meharban, Ludhiana against the petitioners and others in which Cancellation Report has also been accepted by the Ld. Magistrate, therefore the answering deponent recommended that for lodging false FIR against the petitioners, legal opinion should be obtained in this regard. Accordingly the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana obtained legal opinion from D.

A (Legal) who opined that commission of offence punishable u/s 66 of Police Act is made out against the said Sandeep Kumar for lodging false FIR against the petitioners and others.

That accordingly proceedings punishable u/s 66 of Punjab Police Act have already been initiated against the said Sandeep Kumar vide DDR No.14 dated 17.10.2023 and after completion of the investigation, the said Calandra u/s 66 of Punjab Police Act has been submitted before the Ld. Trial Court on 18.10.2023 and now the

-3case is pending in the court of Ms. Monika, Ld. JMIC, Ludhiana and is now fixed for 14. 02.2024. Thus the said order of this Hon'ble Court dated 03.03.2023 Annexure P-1 has been duly complied with in its full letter and spirit."

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the order dated 03.03.2023 passed by this Court in CRM-M-11405-2023 has been complied with, which is not disputed by learned counsel for the petitioners. 5.

In view of the above, since order dated 03.03.2023 passed by this Court in CRM-M-11405-2023, has already been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 6.
