**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed by widow of late Sh. Bakhtawar Singh, who unfortunately died on 12.08.2017. It has been averred by the petitioner in the writ petition that the benefits which the petitioner was entitled for after the death of her husband, were released after a considerable delay and hence, she is entitled for the interest on the delayed payment. In this regard, the petitioner has placed reliance upon a judgment of this Court passed in J.S. Cheema Vs. State of Haryana and others, 2014 (13) RCR (Civil) 355. Counsel for the petitioner states that for the relief claimed in the present writ petition, the petitioner has served the respondents with a legal notice on 05.07.2018 (Annexure P-1), which is still pending NARESH KUMAR 2018.12.03 15:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and the claim being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the legal notice dated 05.07.2018 (Annexure P-1) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to her within a period of next three months.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
