The present criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus, directing the respondents to produce the detenue, namely, Muklakh Raj before this Court who is unlawfully detained by respondent No.3 and to set him at liberty forthwith.

Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to invoke his alternative remedy as available to him in accordance with law for redressal of his grievance raised in the present petition. 3.
