1. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Vigilance Bureau, Amritsar to look into the matter and to ensure that the matter pertaining to FIR No.51, dated 4.5.2024 registered at Police Station Sadar Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran under Sections 379 & 447 of Indian Penal Code, is got investigated fairly and expeditiously in accordance with law, so that a final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. is submitted thereafter at the earliest. The representation/complaint dated 20.5.2024 (Annexure P-2) be also got examined in accordance with law.
2. It shall be open to the petitioner to furnish any additional information to respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Vigilance Bureau, Amritsar as deemed appropriate.
