Mr. Karan Puggal, Advocate and Mr. Gursimran S. Jossan, Advocate for the appellants. Mr. Vinod Gupta, Advocate for the Insurance Company. ***** As agreed, as per statements of learned counsel for the appellants, learned counsel and representative of the respondent-Insurance Company (separately recorded), a sum of Rs.8,50,000/- (Eight lakh and fifty thousand only) over and above the amount awarded by the Tribunal is allowed to the appellants in full and final settlement of the claim in this appeal.

During Lok Adalat, while arriving at a settlement, the interest of all the parties especially the minors is paramount. Accordingly, we dispose of this case with a direction to the Insurance Company to deposit a crossed-cheque for Rs.1,70,000/- in the name of appellant No.1-Baljinder Kaur, a crossed-cheque for Rs.1,70,000/- in the name of appellant No.2-Gagandeep Kaur, a crossed-cheque for Rs.1,70,000/- in the name of appellant No.4-Amar Singh and a crossedcheque for Rs.1,70,000/- in the name of appellant No.5-Kashmir Kaur with the office of Lok Adalat of the High Court within a period of two months in compliance of this order, failing which, interest @ 9% per annum shall follow on this amount from the date of this order till payment. The remaining amount i.e. Rs. 1,70,000/- be deposited in the shape of FDR in the name of appellant No. 3 (Minor), which shall be payable to him on his attaining majority.
