HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S. MADAAN Present:- Mr. Mansur Ali , Advocate for the petitioner. *** The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing. Petitioner Sadhu Singh Randhawa, aged about 65 years, son of Balbir Singh, resident of House No. 1354, Sector 40-B, Chandigarh, an accused in F.I.R. No. 55 dated 7.6.2016 for offences under Sections 406, 420, 465, 468, 471, 120-B IPC registered at Police Station Phase 8, S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali had applied for grant of regular bail before this Court by way of filing CRM-M-26319 of 2016 (O&M). His such petition was accepted by this Court vide order dated 31.8.

2016 and he was ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court subject to terms and conditions one of which was that he shall not leave India during pendency of the trial and deposit his Passport with the trial Court. Now the petitioner has approached this Court seeking release of the Passport for the reason that it's term has expired and he wants to get it renewed and then to re-deposit it in the trial Court. Learned State counsel submits that the Court may pass any order in accordance with law.

Under the circumstances, the present petition is disposed of directing the trial Court to release the Passport of the petitioner to him for the purpose of getting it renewed directing him to furnish requisite personal bond/surety bond in the sum to the satisfaction of the trial Court and to furnish undertaking not to tamper with the Passport and return it to the Court after getting it renewed within the time limit to be prescribed by the trial Court. The trial Court may impose any other term or condition found proper and appropriate for the purpose.
