(Oral) The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.1 to 3 to conduct enquiry and to take appropriate and disciplinary action against respondent No.4 (Sarpanch of Village Gram Panchayat Gohana).

On advance service of copy of petition, Mr. Rajneesh Chadwal, AAG, Haryana, appears on behalf of respondent-State. 3.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Mr. Surjit, Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Block Nagina, District Nuh, submits that on the complaints made against the Sarpanch (respondent No.4), an enquiry has already been marked with the Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Nagina, District Nuh and various notices have been HIMANI GUPTA 2025.07.11 09:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Keeping in view the aforesaid stand taken by learned State counsel, no further orders are required to be passed in the instant writ petition, therefore the same stands disposed of. 5.

However, it goes without saying that the enquiry initiated against respondent No.4 shall be taken to its logical end within a period of three months from today.
