1. Notice of motion.
2. Mr. Sanjeev Kaushik, Addl. A.G., Haryana accepts notice on behalf of State; and Mr. Keshav Gupta, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.3 to 7.
3. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that final relief has been granted by way of an interim order dated 20.05.2025 passed by the MOHIT GOYAL 2025.07.14 14:04 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
LPA-1960-2025 (O&M) learned Single Judge. The challenge in the writ petition was made by persons who were in no manner contesting or claiming for the post.
4. Prima facie, we find that in a Writ of Quo Warranto, final relief cannot be granted by an interim order. While we allow the Hon'ble learned Single Judge to continue the proceedings in the writ petition, we stay the effect and operation of the interim order dated 20.05.2025, till the disposal of the writ petition.
5. With the aforesaid observations, appeal stands disposed of.
