MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to take legal action against the private respondents, who had caused injuries to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a representation was given on 28.04.2023 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, however, it had failed to yield any response. It has been submitted that the official respondents were under a legal obligation to pass an appropriate order on his complaint.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Mohit Kapoor, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents.

Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. 2013 (4) RCR (Criminal) 979.
