MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to take legal action against the private respondents, who had caused injuries to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a representation was given on 28.04.2023 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, however, it had failed to yield any response. It has been submitted that the official respondents were under a legal obligation to pass an appropriate order on his complaint.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Mohit Kapoor, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents.

In the wake of the limited prayer of the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of and respondent No.2Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, is directed to look into the PUNEET SACHDEVA 2023.10.18 09:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document.

Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. 2013 (4) RCR (Criminal) 979.
