The applicant-wife has filed the present application for seeking transfer of the divorce petition, filed at the instance of the respondent-husband, pending in Family Court Jind, to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Charkhi Dadri.

It is submitted by learned counsel that the applicant is residing at Village Achina, which is at a distance of about 17 kilometres from Charkhi Dadri. However, the distance between Village Achina and Jind, is about 125 kilometres. Looking at this long distance, it is difficult for the applicant to defend the divorce petition, filed at the instance of the respondent-husband, which is pending in the Courts at Jind.

Notice of motion for 07.11.2024.

Learned Family Court shall adjourn the case, beyond the date fixed by this Court. % &     ! "
