**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed by widow of late Sh.Satpal Bali, who unfortunately died on 12.07.2008 while in service. It has been mentioned in the petition that after the death of husband of the petitioner, the petitioner has not been paid any retiral benefits i.e. death-cum-retiral gratuity, leave encashment and other benefits for which she was entitled for and only pension is being paid. Prayer is made in the present petition for the release of the benefits, which are not being released without any valid justification. CWP-30114-2018 -2legal notice on 23.08.2018 (Annexure P-1), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is given to the respondents to decide the said legal notice.

In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and the claim being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the legal notice dated 23.08.2018 (Annexure P-1) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to her within a period of next three months.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
