State of Punjab and others

...Respondents

CORAM:

HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE AARADHNA SAWHNEY

Present:

Mr. Naveen Bawa, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Gautam Thapar, Sr. DAG, Punjab.

*** AARADHNA SAWHNEY, J. (ORAL) 1.

By virtue of the present petition u/s 528 of BNSS, petitioner prays for issuing appropriate direction to official respondent Nos.2 and 3 not to harass and humiliate the petitioner by calling him time and again in the office at the behest of private respondents.

2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the dispute between the petitioner and respondent No.5 and 6 stems out of the alleged noncompliance of the terms and conditions of the Agreement to sell dated 13.12.2025. The same being purely 'civil' in nature, however, on a frivolous complaint filed by respondent No.5, ADCP, Traffic, Ludhiana i.e. respondent No.3 is repeatedly calling and harassing the petitioner, aged about 75 years. Learned counsel further submits that a representation dated 11.06.2026 (Annexure P-7) mentioning the entire facts was moved by the petitioner, which till date remains undecided.

At this stage, learned counsel restricts his prayer only to direct the official respondents to decide the representation. PARVEEN KUMAR 2026.06.22 17:23 I agree to specified portions of this document
