ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) 1.

Petitioner, stated to be the sole legal heir of deceased Smt. Daljit Kaur, a retiree School Teacher, inter alia, seeks disbursement of her dues viz. leave encashment, group insurance scheme and general provident fund. Said Smt. Daljit Kaur died on 01.11.2020. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner, being sole legal heir of deceased Smt. Daljit Kaur, by virtue of Will dated 12.10.2020 executed by the deceased in his favour, is entitled to be paid her entire retiral benefits along with interest. However, the respondents are not paying any heed to his genuine request. Even legal notice dated 25.11.2020(Annexure P-6) has not been responded till date. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner will be satisfied if the respondents simply consider his genuine claim as per legal notice dated 25.11.2020 (Annexure P-6).

In view of restricted prayer of the petitioner, no further pleadings are required. Without adverting to the merits of the case, petition herein is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to objectively consider the legal notice (Annexure P-6) and decide the same by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. 7.

Disposed of in above terms.
