**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (ORAL) The present peƟƟon has been filed under ArƟcle 226 of the ConsƟtuƟon of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for release and recovery of detenue Shakila Khatun daughter of peƟƟoners from the illegal custody of respondent No. 4.

Counsel for the peƟƟoners submits that detenue and respondent No. 4 had married against the wishes of the peƟƟoners and they filed CRWP No. 7024 of 2023 before this Court for protecƟon and the same was disposed of vide order dated 18.07.2023. AŌer that, detenue had sent a message to the peƟƟoners that respondent No. 4 has confined. He further submits that he would be contended and saƟsfied in case, peƟƟoners are permiƩed to meet their daughter at the house of respondent No. 4 with police protecƟon and to interact with her in isolaƟon enable them to find out whether she is under any detenƟon or she is residing there with her own free will. 3.
Considering the risk to the life of the detenue involved, the prayer is allowed. The concerned SHO is directed to provide adequate security and shall depute at least two female police officials, who shall accompany the peƟƟoners to the house of respondent No. 4 on 12.08.2023 and allow them to interact with the detenue in isolaƟon and police officials shall guard meeƟng room at the Ɵme of such interacƟon between the peƟƟoners and alleged detenue Shakila Khatun. The concerned SHO shall ensure that no harm is caused to peƟƟoners or detenue.
