**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) In the present petition, the claim has been made for the grant of medical reimbursement to the tune of `1,80,507/-, which the petitioner has spent on the treatment of his wife, who was inserted pacemaker. It has been mentioned in the petition that even though the medical bills were supplied to the respondents immediately after the treatment in the year 2017 and even the District Education Officer, Gurdaspur had sent the file to Civil Surgeon, Gurdaspur, nothing has been done. Further in para No.7 of the petition, it has been mentioned that even the Civil Surgeon, Gurdaspur had forwarded the same to the competent authority for its approval, but no amount has been released in favour of the petitioner.

CWP-30172-2018 -2notice on 31.08.2018 (Annexure P-9), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is given to the respondents to decide the said legal notice.

In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and the claim being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the legal notice dated 31.08.2018 (Annexure P-9) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to him within a period of next three months.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
