The present criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus directing respondents No.2 & 3 to get released the detenue, namely, Amandeep Singh son of Kulwant Singh from the detention of respondents No.4 to 7. 2.

Learned State counsel filed status report dated 25.06.2026 in the Court today and the same is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at an appropriate place in the file.
