AARADHNA SAWHNEY , J (ORAL) Apprehending threat to his life and liberty from the hands of private respondent, the petitioner has filed the present petition, praying for issuance of directions to official respondents to ensure his safety. The limited prayer made in the present petition is for issuance of appropriate directions to the competent authority to consider and decide the representation dated 06.06.2026 (Annexure P-1) submitted by the petitioner, in a fair and expeditious manner within a stipulated time frame. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Gautam Thapar, Sr. DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and has no objection in deciding the representation filed on behalf of the petitioner.
