This is a petition under Sections 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of proceedings against the respondent for non-compliance of the order dated 06.08.2018 passed in CWP-9848-2014. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondent states that the gratuity has since been paid to the petitioner. However, leave encashment cannot be paid by the respondent-University and the petitioner would have to recover the same from the College where he was initially working. 3.

In view thereof, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt petition and the same is disposed off as such. Rule stands discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off. 4.

Needless to say that the petitioner would always be at liberty to avail his remedies as available in law.
