AARADHNA SAWHNEY , J (ORAL) The limited prayer in the present criminal writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution is for issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of private respondent Nos.3 & 4 and decide the representation dated 13.06.2026 (Annexure P.1) submitted by the petitioners, in a time bound manner. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Gautam Thapar, Sr. DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and has no objection in deciding the representation filed on behalf of the petitioners.
