This is a petition under Sections 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of proceedings against the respondent for non-compliance of the order dated 27.02.2025 passed in CWP-5379-2025. 2.

Learned counsel for the State has filed a short reply by way of affidavit of Deepti Uppal, Special Secretary-cum-Director, Department of Local Government, Punjab alongwith a speaking order dated 18.07.2025 (Annexure R-3) which is taken on record. Registry to scan and tag the same at the appropriate place.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed off. Rule stands discharged. In case the petitioner has any grievance, he may approach the concerned Department in accordance with law. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
