1. Petitioner has preferred this Writ Petition praying for directing the respondents to grant the benefit of 4-year ACP in accordance with the instructions dated 03.11.2006 (Annexure P-2).

2. The petitioner himself has admitted that the case of the petitioner has already been taken up, and the respondents are sitting over the case and are not passing final orders of releasing the ACP.

3. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the State submits that he has instructions to inform this Court that the case of the petitioner has already been taken up and the claim of the petitioner shall be considered and decided one way or the other in the near future.

5. It is expected from the respondents to take a decision at the earliest, whereafter if the grievance still remains, the petitioner would be free to come to the Court.
