*** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J. (ORAL) Present petition has been filed seeking benefit of one increment on the ground that the petitioners had already rendered twelve months service before they attained age of superannuation.

Learned Senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the question of law raised in the present petition already stands answered by Hon'ble Supreme Court while passing order in Civil Appeal No.2471 of 2023 titled as 'The Director (Admn. & HR) KPTCL & Ors Vs. C.P. Mundinamani & Ors.' decided on 11.04.2023, hence, the respondents are under obligation to grant the benefits as has been claimed by them in the light of the said judgment.

Learned State counsel submits that claim of the petitioners will be considered in view of said judgment and appropriate order will be passed within a period of eight weeks from the receipt of certified copy of this order and in case, the petitioners are found entitled to the said benefit, in terms of the said

2023:PHHC:110328 CWP No.30301 of 2018 judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court, the same will be extended to them within a period of further four weeks.

Keeping in view the statement made by learned State counsel, learned Senior counsel for the petitioners submits that the present petition may be disposed of as having been not pressed any further. Ordered accordingly.
