The petitioner herein seeks issuance of a direction to the trial Court concerned to decide the Complaint Case bearing NACT No.2973 of 2016, as filed by it (petitioner-Company) against the respondent under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, expeditiously and in a time bound manner, while averring that the said Complaint Case was instituted on 01.08.2016 and the statement of the respondent-accused under Section 313 Cr.P.C. was recorded long back on 29.05.2019 and since then, the case is being adjourned for recording the defence evidence and hearing the arguments.
Heard.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the respondentaccused is all out to prolong the decision of the afore-mentioned Complaint Case and he has failed to conclude his defence evidence despite availing as many as 57 opportunities for this purpose.

Keeping in view the above-discussed facts and circumstances and without commenting or expressing any opinion on the merits of the said Complaint Case, the concerned trial Court is directed to decide the aforesaid Complaint Case, as pending before it, within one month from the date of the receipt of certified copy of this order.
