Prayer in this criminal writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members at the hands of the private respondents and to take appropriate legal action against respondent No.4 on the basis of the allegations made in representation dated 15.06.2026 (Annexure P-1).

The case has been called twice since morning and despite that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that neither the petitioner nor his counsel is interested in pursuing the present petition.
