Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that by way of the impugned notice (Annexure P-16), the Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Sirhind has issued a notice for conducting an open auction of the Panchayat land of Village Naulakha, whereas the Division Bench of this Court in CWP-11633-2005 has already ordered status quo with regard to the possession.

This Court had put a query to learned counsel for the petitioners as to on which page the aforesaid order has been annexed, to which he submitted that inadvertently an incorrect order has been annexed. He has supplied a photocopy of the order dated 07.09.2006 passed in CWP-116332005. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition in order to enable the petitioners to apprise the Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Sirhind and the other SANDAL SHARMA 2026.07.02 16:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-19365-2026 -2concerned authorities of the interim order passed by this Court and to avail the remedy available to the petitioners in accordance with law. 4.

Accordingly, petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
