(ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of a direction to the respondents to file status report with regard to complaint dated 09.09.2021 (Annexure P-6) submitted by the petitioner regarding fraud of Rs.31 lakhs done with him on the pretext of sending abroad and also with regard to fabrication of documents. Upon notice, status report dated 08.01.2022, by way of affidavit of Sh. Suhail Mir, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police City-I, Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar, had already been filed. It has been averred in the status report that during the course of enquiry, the allegations levelled by the petitioner in his complaint dated 09.09.2021 (Annexure P-6) qua having made telephonic calls to the alleged persons, namely, Amarjit Singh and Sarabjit Kaur; payment of alleged money i.e. Rs.31 lakhs to the aforesaid persons as well as the commission of cheating by the said persons on the pretext of sending him abroad, are found wrong and unsubstantiated.

In view of the above, no further action is required to be called in the present case and the same stands disposed of, accordingly.
