Only grievance of the petitioner is that he is not being paid compensation for the crops which have been destroyed due to heavy rain. According to the counsel, petitioner is entitled to the compensation under the Pardhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, however, no action has been taken by the respondents.

On the asking of the court, Mr. Saurabh Mohunta, DAG, Haryana, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. He, at the outset, submits that the matter shall be examined by respondents No.1 and 2 within one month from today. Petitioner, if found entitled to some compensation, same shall be paid to him forthwith. In view of statement made by learned State counsel, no cause of action survives in this petition.
