Mr. Shireesh Gupta, Sr. DAG Punjab puts in appearance and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. The petitioners in all numbering 10, who happens to be employees of Nagar Panchayat, Balianwali, District Bathinda, have come up in this civil writ petition under Articles of the Constitution of India read with Punjab Municipal Act, 1911, seeking issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondents to DALBIR SINGH TIWANA 2021.01.07 14:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.

CWP No. 21609 of 2020 (O&M) -2provide effective hearing to the petitioners over decision of the respondents to de-notify the Nagar Panchayat, Balianwali and which is sought to be converted to Gram Panchayat.

Upon hearing counsel for the two sides and perusal of the records, the present petition stands disposed of with the directions to the official respondents to issue notices to the petitioners in writing calling upon their objections and dispose off the same preferably within a period of two months from the date they put in appearance/file their objections.
