.....Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE AARADHNA SAWHNEY

Present:

Mr. Jitender Singh Dadwal, Advocate for the petitioners. AARADHNA SAWHNEY , J (ORAL) Apprehending threat to their life and liberty from the private respondents, the petitioners have filed the present petition, praying for issuance of directions to the official respondents to ensure their safety. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that although some of the petitioners were involved in cases registered under the provisions of the NDPS Act, the official respondents, taking advantage of their antecedents, have been repeatedly harassing and intimidating them. It is contended that the police officials are persistently threatening to falsely implicate the petitioners in fresh criminal cases and are frequently visiting their respective residences without any lawful justification, thereby causing fear, inconvenience and undue harassment to the petitioners and their family members.

3.

Insofar as the present petition is concerned, learned counsel for the petitioner limits his prayer to direct the official respondents to decide representation dated 16.06.2026 (Annexure P.4), moved by the petitioners. 4.
