RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for issuance of directions to official respondents to put up challan after completion of the investigation in case FIR No.0227, dated 04.12.2021, under Sections 363, 366 IPC, registered at Police Station Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur.

It has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that since the date of registration of the FIR, no progress in the investigation has been made.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State and submits, on instructions from ASI Sukhdev Singh, that cancellation report has been prepared and forwarded for approval to the higher authorities on 06.09.2022 and after approval of the same, the same be submitted before the court of competent jurisdiction. CRM-M-42156-2022 -2In view of the submissions made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the State to submit the cancellation report before the court of competent jurisdiction, if the same is approved by the authorities, within a month from today . Petitioner is also at liberty to avail all his remedies as available to him under the law.
