Petitioner, stated to be the widow of late Sh. Ram Kumar, who was working as Sweeper with respondent No.3, inter alia, seeks disbursement of arrears of service benefits of her deceased husband viz. Provident Fund, Leave Encashment, Gratuity, arrears of increment on completion of 32 years of service and revision of pay along with interest. Said Sh. Ram Kumar died on 17.11.2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner, being widow of deceased employee, is entitled to be paid entire service benefits, ibid, along with interest. However, the respondents are not paying any heed to her genuine request. Even legal notice dated 07.10.2020 (Annexure P-1) has not been responded till date.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner will be satisfied if the respondents simply consider her genuine claim as per legal notice dated 07.10.2020 (Annexure P-1).

Without adverting to the merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to objectively consider the legal notice (Annexure P-1) and decide the same by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. 7.
